Slant Light of Pisa

Pisa, Italy. 4:13pm September 29, 2010.

We (me, my wife and daughter) had less than a couple of hours for a stopover at Pisa on our train ride from Florence to Livorno. So we rushed, by bus, to the must-see Leaning Tower, which was swarmed by tourists. After a few run-of-the-mill, stereotyped shots of the tower and people, I turned away from the crowds and saw this slant shadow of afternoon sunlight on a bright yellow-walled building near the tower and caught in time of two cyclists passing by, with one in the light and one in the shadow. I like it more than all the shots of the tower.

I give up writing long post with more than 120 words. And just one picture each post.

Slant Light
