Burano the Colorful

Burano Island, Venice, Italy. 7:24pm, September 23, 2010.

This fabulously colorful Venetian community is much quieter and disturbed by far fewer tourists than the main island and worth of staying for at least a full day. Regrettably, we had less than an hour’s time on the island before we had to leave so that we did not miss the water-bus ride back to our cruise ship for dinner. It was also a too bad for me that we got there too late for photography with decent afternoon light. The only thing that was right on this trip is my daughter’s colorful skirt matched very well with the environment as she walked along those brightly painted houses.
