In Awe of the Sagrada Familia

Barcelona, Spain. 2:31pm September 18, 2010. The Sagrada Familia, an architectural marvel that is already 129 years in the making, the master-piece of Gaudi the great architect, the landmark of Barcelona, a Roman Catholic church that one can only look up to with awe, is certainly a not-to-be-missed sightseeing destination for anyone visiting Barcelona. This great structure is simply too big for my camera, or any camera for that matter. I mean, no camera can capture its grandiosity in whole. So I looked at its parts and details. They are awesome enough for any camera, and one should not be in a hurry when taking photos of this structure ( I was reminded of Gaudi’s remark “My client is not in a hurry” in which he referred to God). Unfortunately I didn’t have the time for a careful study. This photo, though, does express a bit of my feeling of this awesome architecture.
