Snowshoeing on Mt. Seymour on the Last Day of 2012

It’s been wet and rainy since winter started, and I really wanted to touch snow before the year 2012 went by. A snowshoeing trip up Mt. Seymour was quickly planned on the 30th, and in the early morning of 31st, I was at the trailhead.

No spectacular sunrise, but only a few red rays streaking through the thick clouds over Mt. Baker.

The sky remained gloomy.

The clouds became thinner on higher elevation, and there were even sun breaks but it was snowing.

A couple of pictures of the snowy mountain landscape, in black & white and sepia respectively:

Wishing you, my readers, a wonderful 2013!
