Make Use of the Harsh Light – Some Shots at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

It was a very pleasant sunny morning but in terms of photography the light was harsh. However, it was also an opportunity to create good black and white photos. Capture your subjects in side light, you would have them in nice three dimensions. If you could position your subjects with a relatively dark background and slightly back light, you would have them in nice “silver linings”. Here are a few shots I got in the harsh light of that day.
